Business Process Design (Magic xpi 3.x)
You can use the Magic xpi’s business process design capability to help you with your integration project design. The business process design helps you understand the processes in your project and therefore how you should set up your project.
To design a business process:

Click the Business Process tab.

From the Business Process Images pane, select a business process element and drag its icon to the Business Process view.

Define the element’s properties as required.

Select another icon and drag the icon to the desired location in the Business Process view.

To connect elements, right-click an element in the Business Process Model. From the menu, select Connect and then click on the element you want to connect to. Magic xpi creates a connecting line between the two elements.

To check the properties of a particular business process, click the Business Process tab. Then right-click Business Process in the Navigation pane, and select Properties from the context menu. This opens the Business Process Properties dialog box.

From the Insert menu or the context menu, you can add elements as required, including flows, text areas, and demarcation areas.

You can add a grid in the background by selecting Toggle Grid from the Edit menu.

You can copy and paste a business process by using the Copy and Paste options in the Edit menu or the context menu.

You cannot cut and paste a flow within the same business process.

You cannot cut and paste a business process in the same project.

You can press Ctrl+F to open the Find dialog box. You can use this functionality to find the first business process that contains the search string.
