Windows Operating Systems (Magic xpa 4.x)
In Windows platforms, the MGDBnn is set to point to the relevant DLL in the [MAGIC_ GATEWAYS] section of the Magic.ini file. For example, the Oracle ID in the DBMS section is 13:
MGDB13= mgOracle.dll
If you used the Magic xpa client server, MGDB13 should refer to mdora.dll. An example of the gateway section in the Magic.ini file under Windows is:
[MAGIC_GATEWAYS]
;MGCOMM01=mgwsock.dll
MGDB00=C:\Program Files\MSE\Magic xpa 2\Gateways\MGBtrieve.dll
;MGDB01=MGPervasiveSQL.dll
;MGDB06=mgdb2400.DLL
;MGDB13=mgOracle.dll
;MGDB16=mgeac.dll
;MGDB18=mgdb2.DLL
;MGDB19=mgodbc.dll
MGDB20=Gateways\mgmssql.dll
MGDB21=C:\Program Files\MSE\Magic xpa 2\Gateways\mgmemory.dll
MGDB10=C:\Program Files\MSE\Magic xpa 2\Gateways\mglocal.dll
