Web Services (Magic xpi 4.12)
Web services are the standard way to interoperate between applications on different platforms or frameworks. Web services enable access to your application from external sources. Various types of applications, written in different languages, located anywhere in the world, can interface with your application in real time.

To be able to use Web Services as a provider, you should make sure that you have a properly installed and functional Systinet server which is accessible by the Magic xpi server.
To be able to use Web Services as a consumer, you should use Web Services Client Resource configuration and Web Services Client Step configuration. You do not need to install Systinet server for to be able to act as Web Service consumer.

To use the Web Services component, you should have basic WSDL knowledge, such as the difference between RPC and the document types and also understand the basic concepts of XSD.
