Web Monitor (Magic xpi 3.x)
You can monitor activities via the Web by logging on to the Web Monitor feature.
This feature functions as a single thread (i.e. users will be influenced by other users' activity).

Make sure that your Internet Options are set to always take pages from the server and not to work locally from a cache.

In Magic xpi, you need to enter a user name and password in the Environment tab of the Project Properties dialog box.

Build an executable file (File > Build Executable File > Build) and a shortcut (WebMonitor) to view the monitor records in the web is created in the project’s folder under the projects directory.

Make sure that the project is running on the Server.

Click the WebMonitor shortcut and a log in page will appear.

Enter the user name and password for the Monitor that you defined in the Project Properties dialog box (in step 1). Remember that the user name is case sensitive. If the user name and password are verified by Magic xpi, the Monitor's Activity Log of the project will appear.
The left pane contains the following:

Activity Log View
|
Shows the different Magic xpi Server log messages.

BAM Message View
|
Displays information regarding the BAM messages defined by the user in the BAM Service configuration.

Scheduler List
|
Displays information about the schedules created for a flow.
|

|
Clear All
|
Clears all messages in the Monitor.
|
Save Log
|
Saves the information in the Activity Log.
|
Start Auto Refresh
|
Automatically refreshes the Monitor
|
Logout
|
Logs out of the Monitor.
|
|
|
Filters
|
Lets you filter information to be displayed in the Monitor.

The Web Monitor is unique per project and does not provide the multi-project management screen. It connects to a specific Server.

The Web Monitor feature does not currently work properly with the Mozilla Firefox browser.
