Description

Wait - Invoke Operation (Magic xpa 3.x)

The Wait property specifies if the Magic xpa program waits for the called program to complete before it continues.

  • No – This is the default setting. When No is specified, the Magic xpa program will not wait for the called program to complete before continuing.

  • Yes – When Yes is specified, the Magic xpa program will wait for the called program to complete before the Magic xpa program continues.

In Rich Client tasks, if the Execute On property is set to Client, then the Wait property will be disabled with its value set to No.

Platform specific: In the Invoke OS operation, this property is not supported for mobile devices.

Exception: Setting the Wait property to Yes will not work when performing the Invoke OS on a file (without specifying the application that should open it) and the default viewer for the file is a single instance application (such as Windows Photo Viewer).
