Undo Actions over Flow Components (Magic xpi 4.9)
You can undo editing operations made in the Flow Editor (creating, modifying, and deleting the flow components). You can undo one or more operations and redo the undone changes.
Undo an Action
To undo an operation, go to the Edit menu and select Undo option from the drop-down list.
Alternatively, you can configure the Undo button on the Standard Toolbar and use it or press Ctrl+Z until you go back to the desired previous state.
Group Undo Actions
To undo a series of operations at a time, select Show Undo/Redo Pane option from the context menu. As you park on the operation(s) that you want to undo, the list of the selected operations will be highlighted. The number of selected operations will be shown in the summary line. When you click on the last highlighted operation, all the highlighted operations will be undone and added to the Group Redo list in the reverse order.
|
-
You can't undo some actions, such as modifications to the properties of the flow, automatically generated folders during some operations and debugger instructions for the steps.
-
When a target to a GoTo step is deleted, the GoTo step is also removed along with it. The Undo command to the delete operation will restore both the deleted step or the branch and the GoTo steps which were pointing to the deleted step(s).
-
The save Data Mapper command is stored in the Undo list each time the Data Mapper file is modified. Correspondingly, the Undo command would return the step to the previous version of the Data Mapper file. If the Data Mapper file is open, you will be prompted to close it before restoring it to the previous version.

Redo an Action
To redo something that you have undone, go to the Edit menu and select Redo option from the drop-down list.
Alternatively, you can configure the Redo button on the Standard Toolbar and use it or press Ctrl+Y until you go back to the desired previous state.
Group Redo Actions
To redo a series of operations at a time, select Show Undo/Redo Pane option from the context menu. As you park on the operation(s) that you want to redo, the list of the selected operations will be highlighted. The number of selected operations will be shown in the summary line. When you click on the last highlighted operation, all the highlighted operations will be redone and added to the Group Undo list.
|
-
The Undo/Redo buttons and Undo/Redo menu items get disabled, when parking on the Flow properties.
-
In Group Undo/Redo operations for the Data Mapper step, the changes made to the Data Mapper file will be shown only when the file is saved.
