UDDI Server Resource (Magic xpi 4.5)

A UDDI Server is a searchable repository of Web services, where you can also publish newly created services.
This resource can be used to search for a Web Service or publish a Web Service that is implemented in your Magic xpi project. In the Web Service resource, you can search for the WSDL in the UDDI Server. In the Web Service section of the Settings dialog box's Services section, you can publish the newly created service on a UDDI Server.
UDDI Server resources contain the following parameters (parameters in bold are mandatory):

Publish URL
|
The name of the UDDI service that enables you to publish a service. Other users can search for the new service, and can then use it.
You can either enter the name, or click to open the Environment Variables List. Here, you can select an environment variable to use as a name.

Inquire URL
|
The name of the UDDI service that allows you to search for services using search strings and wildcards.
You can either enter the name, or click to open the Environment Variables List. Here, you can select an environment variable to use as a name.

UDDI User
|
The authentication user name for searching and publishing services.
You can either enter the user name, or click to open the Environment Variables List. Here, you can select an environment variable to use as a user name.

UDDI Password
|
The authentication password for searching and publishing services.
You can either enter the password, or click to open the Environment Variables List. Here, you can select an environment variable to use as a password.

A password entered as an environment variable is masked by asterisks.
