Tooltip

Specifies whether a ToolTip is associated with this control. A number specifies the number of the ToolTip Help in the Help list.

You can enter an expression for a Tooltip so that the Tooltip is dynamic. You can create the expression in Unicode format.

Show Buttons

Specifies whether the button image next to a parent node is displayed. If False is selected, the button image is not displayed and the end user must double-click the parent node to expand the level.

Note: If Show Buttons = True, then by default leaves of the tree – that is, the items with no sub-items – will show up with a “+” sign when the tree first appears. If you want to avoid this, set Node Preload or Auto Expand to True.

Show Lines

Specifies whether a line is displayed identifying the relationship between parent and child nodes. If False is selected, the line is not displayed. When this property is set to True, the Row Highlight property will not be enabled.

Lines at Root

If True is selected, a line is displayed identifying the relationship between the root value and the next level of nodes in the data tree at runtime. If False is selected, the line is not displayed.

Mouse over Indication

If True is selected, a line appears under the node text when the cursor rests on or passes over the node. If False is selected, Magic xpa does not indicate that the cursor rests on or passes over a node.

This property is available in Online tasks only.

Hot track

Lets you automatically underline the node text when the cursor rests on or passes over the node. If True is selected, a line appears under the node text when the cursor rests on or passes over the node. If False (default) is selected, Magic xpa does not indicate that the cursor rests on or passes over the node.

This property is available in Rich Client tasks only.

Row Highlight

If True is selected, the node row is highlighted in blue when the cursor rests on or passes over it. If this property is set to True, the Show Lines property will not be enabled.
