Task Editor (Magic xpa 4.x)

The Task Editor provides the following editors for you to specify the data view display, task logic, and forms:

Data View Editor

This window lets you define the task’s data view interface as part of the task definition. Data View elements include tables, fields, sorts, and range. The Data View Editor replaces the Record Main from previous eDeveloper versions. You can open the Data View Editor by clicking the Data View tab, or by clicking the Data View option from the Task pulldown menu.

Logic Editor

This window lets you define the task’s logic segments, such as task level handlers, event handlers, control handlers, and functions. You can open the Logic Editor by clicking the Logic tab, or by clicking the Logic option in the Task pulldown menu.

Form Editor

This window lets you define the form display for the task. You can open the Form Editor by clicking the Form tab, or by clicking in the Forms option in the Task pulldown menu.
