Specifying a Print Style for a Section of Output Text (Magic xpa 4.x)
To specify a print style for a section of output text:
-
From the program's entry in the Program repository, zoom into the program and click the Form tab.
-
In the Form Editor, select any line of the Text-based report whose output form is to be printed.
-
Zoom to the Form Designer.
-
Select the text for which you want to specify a print style.
-
Go to the property sheet and zoom from the Print Attribute property to the Print Attributes list.
-
Choose a print style from the Print Attributes list.
-
The text you have selected will appear on the form in the color that corresponds to the print style you have designated.
-
From the Task menu, select I/O devices and be certain that Printer is the Media column entry and that the Printer column specifies the name of a printer of the type whose control codes appear in the Print Command file you have designated. For example, if you have specified a Print Command file for a certain type of laser printer, then the Printer column entry should be a printer of that type.
