Schema Connection Error Log (Magic xpi 4.5)
The Schema Connection Error Log gives you information about Data Mapper connections that are about to be deleted. Connections can be deleted for various reasons, such as:

Changes made to SQL statement fields

Changes made to flat file fields

The violation of mapping rules after migration
If any of these changes are made, the Schema Connection Error Log opens automatically the next time that you open the Data Mapper. It displays the following detailed information about these deleted connections, making it easier for you to restore the connections if necessary:

Source Schema
|
The name of the Source schema where the change was made.
|
Source Path
|
The path to the Source node whose data has a data type that was changed.
|
Destination Schema
|
The name of the Destination schema where the change was made.
|
Destination Path
|
The path to the Destination node whose data has a data type that was changed.
|
Reason
|
The reason for the deletion of a connection.
|
Condition
|
The node's condition expression (if applicable).
|
Calculated Value
|
The node's calculated value (if applicable).
|
Single Instance Filter
|
The node's single instance expression (if applicable).
|
Click Close to close this dialog box.
Click Save to save the information in a log file. This lets you retrieve information on deleted connections at a later date.
Click Compound Level Computation to open the Multi Updates dialog box. This dialog box contains additional information about nodes with compound level computation properties that are listed in the Schema Connection Error Log (above). Click OK to close this dialog box.
