SNMP Service (Magic xpi 3.x)
The SNMP service is used to create and send text messages. This service uses the SNMP server that is defined in the Magic xpi Magic.ini file. If no SNMP server is defined in the Magic.ini file, you must define a new server and add it to the Magic.ini file.
This service uses the SNMP notify function to create and send messages to an SNMP server. Messages can be given a priority of High, Medium, or Low. A message is created in the monitor log if the SNMP send action fails.
