SNMP Database Connections Utilization Threshold (Magic xpa 2.x)
This setting lets you enter a percentage number that determines the number of exceeded open connections permitted (threshold trap) for a DBMS, as specified in the DBMS Max. Connections property, before Magic xpa sends a trap message.
If a non-zero value exists in the number of maximum connections allowed for a certain DBMS, the enterprise server will automatically report a trap when the number of opened connections to that DBMS exceeds N% of that value.
A new trap will be sent every time the number of established connections reaches a new peak (after exceeding N% of the number of connections selected in this setting).
For example, if the Max Connections property is set to 10 for a specified DBMS and the SNMP Database Connections Utilization Threshold is set to 50, Magic xpa sends a trap message to the Network Management Station (NMS) when 5 connections (50% of 10) to the DBMS have been opened.
