SAPB1 Services (Magic xpi 4.6)
SAPB1 2004, SAPB1 2005, SAPB1 2007, and SAPB1 8.8 services contain the following parameters (parameters in bold are mandatory):
SAPB1 Resources
This read-only field shows the SAPB1 resources that you want to connect to. The SAPB1 resources contain the connection details that enable you to connect to SAPB1 databases. You can select these resources by clicking the Resources button (see below).
Trace Objects
This read-only field shows which objects' changes you want to monitor with the service. You can select these objects by clicking the Objects button (see below).
Polling Interval
Defines how often the SAPB1 service checks for new operations.
Note:
If you want to use SAP HANA triggers, you need to take the ODBC connection string, defined in the ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog box, and enter it in the Connection Properties column of the SAPB1 Multi Resources List.
SAPB1 2004, SAPB1 2005, SAPB1 2007, and SAPB1 8.8 services also give you the following buttons:
Resources
Opens the SAP B1 Multi Resources List. This list contains the SAPB1 resources that you defined in the Settings dialog box's Resources section. Select the required resources from the list.
Objects
Opens the SAPB1 Trace Objects Configuration dialog box. Click New to open the New Trace Object Definition dialog box.
Select an object from the drop-down list, select the check boxes next to the operations that you want to assign to the object, and click OK. Repeat this process for each trace object that you want to add to the service.
When you have added the required trace objects in the SAPB1 Trace Objects Configuration dialog box, click OK.
Deploy
Creates a stored procedure in the SAPB1 database. The stored procedure is based on the objects that you selected when you clicked the Objects button (above).
Note:
To monitor changes in the same object that are located in different SAP databases, you can define multiple connections to different databases. You should then select the relevant connections only, or select the All Resources check box. This instructs the trigger to use all of the connections that you have defined.
