SAPB1 - How To Make a Multiple Query (Magic xpi 4.5)
You can query multiple records using the XML configuration. To make a multiple query:
-
Drag an SAPB1 connector into the flow.
-
In the Properties pane's Setting section, select a resource. If you did not previously define a resource, go to the Project menu and select Settings to open the Settings dialog box. Here, in the Resources section, you should define an SAPB1 resource, which in turn defines the connections to the SAP databases. For more information on how to do this, click here.
-
In the Properties pane's General section, select XML as the interface.
-
Double-click or right-click on the connector and select Configuration from the context menu to open the SAPB1 Configuration dialog box.
-
Select Query as the Operation.
-
Select the data object where the information is to come from. For example, if you want to make a query about business partners, select BusinessPartners as the data object.
-
Click OK to open the Data Mapper screen. The Destination side of the dialog box will have SAPB1 entered as an IFC Model type.
-
On the Source side of the Data Mapper screen, select the Type according to where you are getting your original data. You can have a flat file with indexes or get the information from a database.
-
In the Properties pane, enter the information about your data. For example, if you are using a flat file, select the flat file and delimiter information.
-
Map the data type in your file to the same data type in the Destination. For example, you should have a Source node called CardCode if you are mapping Card Code information. Map this to the CardCode node in the SAPB1 destination. This indicates what data should be mapped.
-
Map the compound node called Record where the data type in the previous step resides to the BO compound node on the Source side. This tells the Data Mapper to map all the business object data with the card codes indicated.
-
Click Save to save your mappings.
