Rights Repository (Magic xpi 3.x)

Magic xpi contains a repository that allows you to add security rights to system users. You can access this repository from the Project menu. For more information, see Magic xpi Security.

To add rights to the repository:

1. From the Project menu, select Properties to open the Project Properties dialog box.

2. Click the Security tab, and select either Internal or LDAP from the Authentication system drop-down list.

3. Click OK.

4. Return to the Project menu, and select Rights to open the Rights Repository.

5. Click New to activate the next empty line in the repository.

6. Click in the Name column and enter a name for the right.

7. Press [Tab] to move to the Description column and enter a short description for the right. This is optional, but it is recommended that you enter a description that will help you remember what groups or users are assigned to this right.

8. Click OK to close the repository and to save the data.

Select a right in the repository and click Delete to permanently remove the right from the repository.
