Registry Definitions (Magic xpa 4.x)

If you choose to use Version Control as part of your project development, as a default, Magic xpa uses the Version Control product defined in your system registry. The key below describes the path to the Version Control product.

  • On 32-bit operating systems: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider\ProviderRegKey

  • On 64-bit operating systems: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SourceCodeControlProvider\ProviderRegKey

This key is defined in the InstalledSCCProviders section. All projects that support the SCC API are listed in this section.

If you want to switch between Version Control providers, you should go to the desired product in the InstalledSCCProviders section, copy the data, and paste it in the SourceCodeControlProvider\ProviderRegKey section.

This change will not be relevant once Magic xpa has started working with the Version Control provider, and will be used only after restarting Magic xpa.
