PPD Protection Device Button (Magic xpa 3.x)
Use the PPD (Programmable Protection Device) button to access the PPD dialog box. The PPD dialog box provides the facility to program a password into a special protection module. Using this password in conjunction with a protection device lets you create applications that have an additional measure of protection, beyond that provided by the authorization system.

Enter the old PPD password, the new PPD password, and the PPD content.

Click OK to confirm the changes, or click Cancel to return to the Application Properties dialog box without making any changes.

If you click OK a Confirmation dialog box appears. Click Yes to confirm the PPD changes which will then be written to the protection device (the plug), or No to abandon the operation without making any changes to the PPD.
