PDF Security (Magic xpa 3.x)
The PDF Security dialog box contains the fields described below. Note that you can zoom from any of these fields to open the Expression Editor.

Document Open Password
|
This option defines the password required to open the PDF.
The field contains an expression number representing the password string.

Change Permissions Password
|
This option defines the password that enables the change of the permissions properties detailed below (using external tools).
The field contains an expression number representing the password string.
Note that in order for this password to have an affect, it must be different than the Document Open password.

Printing
|
This option defines whether the end user is allowed to print the document.
The field contains a logical value or an expression number that evaluates to a logical value.

Content Copying
|
This option defines whether the end user is allowed to copy or extract text and graphics from this document.
The field contains a logical value or an expression number that evaluates to a logical value.

Changes
|
This option defines whether the end user is allowed to fill in existing interactive form fields including signature fields and whether the end user is allowed to sign the document.
The field contains a logical value or an expression number that evaluates to a logical value.

Page Layout
|
This option defines whether the end user is allowed to assemble the document, such as insert, rotate, delete pages, create bookmarks, and thumbnail images, and whether the end user is allowed to create template pages.
The field contains a logical value or an expression number that evaluates to a logical value.

The security options are effective only if the Document Open Password is defined.
