Monitor and Server - Configuration File Flags (Magic xpi 3.x)

Flag

Definition

MPSServer=

Determines which server and port will be used in the Projects View display when the screen is opened and refreshed.

The Projects View refresh process always retrieves information from the uniPaaS broker. See also the Logging Process.

ConnectToRunningServer=

Determines whether the open process will check the connection to the running project in order to retrieve the different queries which are done for a broker likely to execute.

If the value of this flag is Y, and you were able to open the Projects View screen (the first screen that is opened when the Monitor is loaded), the open process will automatically try to connect to the running project.

If you were not able to open the Projects View screen, this flag will not be checked and the information about the project will not automatically be retrieved. See also the Logging Process.

RemoteTuning=

Determines whether the different queries for a broker likely to execute will be done automatically when a project is opened.

This flag is similar to the ConnectToRunningServer= flag but it is used and saved as part of different sub-processes of the Monitor.

This flag is checked before the ConnectToRunningServer= flag is checked.

GeneralErrorLog=

Each running Magic xpi Server has its own unique error in the <Magic xpi installation folder>\logs. The path is located in each project's ifs.ini file as follows:

[MAGIC_ENV]GeneralErrorLog =* %log%<projectName>_error.log

If you leave this entry blank, an error log file will not be created.
