Convert SQL statement fields to Upper/Lower case
With Magic xpi, SQL statement field names are no longer taken from the statement itself, but are retrieved from the database. To eliminate potential field name mismatches, the Migration utility’s Convert SQL statement fields to Upper/Lower case action button displays a dialog box that allows you to convert field names to either uppercase or lowercase for any of the supported database gateways (MSSQL, Oracle, ODBC, DB2/400, DB2, or Pervasive SQL).
Automatic Mapping
When this check box is selected, the migration process examines the connections for each Data Mapper step in the project. Connections that are suitable for automatic migration are migrated to Magic xpi. When the migration log file is created, it will display all the connections that you need to fix to ensure a smooth migration to Magic xpi. If you do not fix these connections, they will be deleted during the migration process. The default is checked.
Note:
To perform the migration process efficiently and effectively, you should make sure that you fix all log error messages. Then you should re-execute the Migration utility and verify that the error section in the migration log file does not include any Data Mapper steps.
