Method Example - Run Command (Magic xpi 4.9)
The following is an example of how to set the System i connector's Run Command method.

Open the Magic xpi project.

Park on a flow.

Drag the IBM i connector into the flow area.

Double-click or right-click on the connector and select Configuration from the context menu.

In the Direct Access Method dialog box, click New. Select Run Command from the list of methods.

Specify the following parameter details:

Close all of the opened windows until you are back in the Flow Editor.

Run the flow via the Magic xpi Debugger.

Check the result on IBM i using the command: WRKSPLF.
A spool file named QSYSPRT will be created on IBM i, containing the output created from the WRKSYSVAL command. The WRKSYSVAL command is executed by the Run Command method.
