Description

Setup (Magic xpa 2.x)

  1. When you installed Magic xpa, there was an option to install the Messaging component. If you did not do this, you can open the install wizard again and select the Messaging component.

  2. Open a new line in the CRR.

  3. Press F5 and select the .eci file for the Messaging component that you want to work with.

  4. The Messaging component has two logical names, which are described below. If these are not in your Magic.ini file, you should add them.

    MessagingComponentDir – This points to the location of the messaging component. This logical name must end in a slash. The direction of the slash is OS-dependent; the slash for the Windows OS is \.

    MessagingErrorLogFile – This is the error log name. The file is placed in the MessagingComponentDir.
