Logging on to Version Control (Magic xpa 3.x)

By default, the Version Control products use your operating system user name for connecting to the Version Control server. Many products may provide a log on screen for connecting to the Version Control system in which you will have to enter a user name and password.

If you are working with Visual SourceSafe, when you open the Checked out list or perform a Check in operation an additional log on screen appears. The screen will automatically use the user name you entered previously.
