Link Write (Magic xpa 4.x)

When the Link category is Write, Magic xpa attempts to establish the link. If the link is successful, data from the linked record's selected variables are included in the data view.

If the link fails, Magic xpa creates a matching record by filling the linked variables according to the following rules:

Linked variables, whose Select column or local variables have no Init expression, are filled with zeroes if they are Numeric, Date, or Time variables, or with blanks if they are Alpha variables, or left empty if they are Blob variables.

Linked variables whose column or local variables have Init expressions, and who are in an Online task or in a Batch task in Modify mode, are initialized with the value of the expression.
