Language Support (Magic xpi 4.13)

Non-English characters can be used in the names of business processes, flows, and steps, as well as in descriptions. The names of projects, resources, services and variables can only be written in English characters or the language of your machine.

When you install Magic xpi, the default language is English. For other languages, you need to set the language in the following locations:

  • ConstFile parameter in the Magic.ini file. For example, for Chinese language support, you should set the following: ConstFile =C:\Magic xpi x.x\Runtime\Magic xpa\mgconstw.chn

  • External Code Page setting in the Magic.ini file.

  • Control Panel > Region and Language > Formats

  • Language for non-Unicode programs system locale property in the Administrative tab of the Region and Language settings in the Control Panel.
