Description

Java-related Configuration (Magic xpi 3.x)

To configure Magic xpi to load the Java VM:

  1. Edit the user logon file to .profile, .cshrc, or .bash_profile.

  2. In the JAVA_HOME, find the directory that contains the client version of the libjvm.so file.

  3. Add the directory that you found in the step above to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

  4. After installing Magic xpi and adjusting all of the relevant settings, make sure to log out and log in again of the UNIX system in order for the settings to take effect
