Installing the Gateway and the Host Libraries (Magic xpa 3.x)
The gateways are installed through the System i Products option of the Magic xpa Setup program. The host library is installed from the Magic Downloads area. For details instructions, please read the Release Notes that are included with the product installation.
The Magic xpa for IBM i host can be installed in any library on the IBM i server. The default library is MAGIC400.
To install the gateway:

Run the Magic xpa Setup program.

Check the System i Products option.

Check the Magic xpa System i client option and click Next.
