Description

IBM i Internet Server with Windows Application Server (Magic xpa 3.x)

This configuration has two hardware components, an IBM i Server and a Windows server.

The IBM i Server runs the software components listed below:

  • Internet Connection Server (OS i 6.1, OS i 7.1, or OS i 7.2) or Internet Connection Secure Server (OS i 6.1, OS i 7.1, or OS i 7.2)

  • Magic xpa CGI Requester

The Windows Server runs the software listed below:

  • Magic xpa Enterprise Server

  • Magic Request Broker as Messaging Server

In this case, a network drive must be mapped on the Windows Server to the IBM i IFS to enable the Magic xpa Server to create files for the HTTP server.
