I/O Device Open Timing (Magic xpa 2.x)
The timing of opening an I/O device can be controlled in two ways:

Immediate – When the task that defines the I/O is opened.

On Demand – When the first output or input operation to the I/O device occurs, or when an I/O-device-related function, such as EOF, EOP, Line, or Page is used.
Available values: Immediate, On Demand
Default: Immediate
