I/O Device - Form Output Operation (Magic xpa 3.x)

The I/O Number is required. It specifies the number in the I/O Device list, of the device to which you want to write the form. Its default setting is 1, the first device. For Merge forms, the I/O device must be either a Requester or a Standard file.

The device you specify must have its Access property set to Write or Append in the I/O Device repository. The Access property of an I/O device used by a Merge form must be set to Write.

You can specify a device defined (that is, opened) in an ancestor of the current task.

Zoom to the I/O Device list and select the I/O device you want.

To define a new I/O device, zoom from the I/O Device list into the I/O Device repository.
