Handling Scheduler Records

When a Magic xpi Server shuts down abnormally, for example if a computer crashes, some Scheduler records may still exist. You can use two settings in each Server’s .ini file to determine whether these records should be saved when the particular Magic xpi Server is restarted so that you can reuse the records.

You can find the two settings in the [MAGIC_IBOLT] section. The two settings are:

  • SchedulerStartupRetainModeYou use this setting to determine which type of Scheduler records should be retained when the Server is started.

  • SchedulerStartupRetainPeriodYou use this setting to determine whether past, future or all records should be retained when the particular Server is started.
