HTTP Timeout (Magic xpa 4.x)
The retrieval phase of the HTTPCall, HTTPGet and HTTPPost functions, the Invoke Web Service Lite operation, and XML schemas over the web (http/https) in the studio (XML Get Definition) and runtime (XML Functions), can be defined to stop after a defined elapsed time.
Since version: 3.2d
The HTTP Timeout environment setting defines this elapsed time in seconds. If the value is 0, the HTTP Timeout will be 120 (meaning 2 minutes).
This setting only controls the retrieval phase, and has no effect on other OS level communication activities, such as trying to access unknown or inaccessible servers.
This setting has no effect on HTTP requests sent from RIA clients, whose retrieval phase is unlimited in theory and limited in practice by the RequesterTimeoutSec (GigaSapces) or RequesterTimeout (broker) settings. For more information, see Timeouts and Intervals.
Valid values: 0 to 300 (seconds)
Default: 120
Magic.ini and Command Line name: HTTPTimeout
Change effective: Immediate
