Description

HTTP – Configuration (Magic xpi 4.13)

The HTTP component lets you post or get information on the World Wide Web.

When you place the HTTP component in a flow, Magic xpi automatically opens the Properties pane for the component. You should enter the requested information in the Properties pane. Then, double-click or right-click on the component and select Configuration from the context menu to open the component's Configuration dialog box.

Before you use the HTTP component, you should first define an HTTP resource in the Settings dialog box's Resources section. If you are going to use it as a trigger, then you also should define an HTTP service in the Settings dialog box's Services section.

The dialog box displayed depends on the whether you use the HTTP component as a trigger or as a step in the flow. When you use a component as a step in a flow, you can select from the following interfaces:

To trigger a flow, you must also send an HTTP request in a specific syntax to the HTTP Trigger.
