Get Latest Version (Magic xpa 2.x)

The Get Latest Version option is used to retrieve the most recent version of the object from the Version Control server. When you use this option, Magic xpa replaces the object’s file on your local machine with the most recently checked-in version of the object’s source file.

This option is only enabled for the currently checked-out objects.

Get Latest Version for Programs

When you are parked on the top of the Program repository (#) and select Get Latest Version from the Version Control menu, Magic xpa displays a dialog box asking whether you want to get the latest programs. If you select the Get Latest Version of programs check box, the Version Control system gets the latest version of all of the programs in the Program repository.

Get Latest Version for Multiple Objects

You can use the Get Latest Version option for two types of multiple objects: application objects and programs.

Note:

The Merge option in the Get Latest Version option does not merge the Version Control's source code with the local source code. It leaves the code as it is locally.
