Description

Generated iSeries Component (Magic xpa 4.x)

When you have finished using the iSeries wizard, the following will occur:

  • Programs and functions will be created for each requested iSeries option.

  • Each program will have variables for the host address, username, and password.

  • The functions have parameters corresponding to the defined parameters. If the parameter is defined as Returns a Value, the component will map this to Input/Output in the Call operation.

  • The wizard creates an Invoke UDP operation for the dll function: '@MGEAC.iseries'.

  • Generic public functions are created according to the user's selection.

  • An iSeries ISAM gateway is created, which points to the QTEMP library.
