Fonts Settings (Magic xpa 3.x)
There are three different Font repositories (each appearing as a separate tab):
-
The Application Font repository includes all explicitly used fonts. You can add new entries, which can be deleted or renamed.
-
The Runtime Internal Font repository includes fonts that are used at runtime to display built-in screens, such as the environment setting dialog boxes and the Range/Locate dialog boxes. Like the Studio Font repository, you cannot add new fonts and you cannot rename existing fonts. However, the entries font settings can be modified.
-
The Studio Font repository includes only the fonts that affect the Studio screens. The developer cannot add new fonts and cannot rename existing fonts. However, the entries' font settings can be modified.
Fonts associate specific fonts to each kind of output available. Fonts contain 100 entries, including preassigned font definitions, such as Default Table Edit, Default Dialog Text, Push Button, and Status Line Text. The bulk of the entries in Fonts are for User Defined Font assignments. The Font repository can store an unlimited number of font values.
Fonts are stored in the Font Definition files specified in the External tab of the Environment dialog box.
