Flow Timeouts (Magic xpi 3.x)
While flows are running on the current Server, the activity management thread reads from the activity objects the start date and time of flows that belong to the current Server. These are flows that were started on the particular Server.
If a certain flow or step exceeds the timeout definition, then a recovery program is called. This program ends all the flow sequence’s active threads and deletes all activity objects of this flow sequence. The program then ascertains the flow’s Recovery policy and recovers the flow accordingly. At the end of the process, the flow sequence recovery objects are deleted.
