External Files Tab (Magic xpa 2.x)
The external files are used to override the general files in the Settings submenu.
The idea is to enable you to provide unique settings for each project.
The application's external file properties are:

Print Attribute File
|
A file for the application that contains logical printer attributes different from those specified in the Print Attributes File environment setting. Use this property to force the use of an application-specific printer attributes file in a multi-application environment.

HTML Style File
|
Lets you change HTML Style tags defined in the file specified in the HTML Styles File environment setting, and to save the HTML style tags in a different file. Use this property to ensure that a project-specific HTML Styles file in a multi-project environment is created.

Application Color Definition File
|
Lets you modify the color settings defined in the Runtime Application Color Definition File environment setting, and to save the new color settings in a different file. Use this property to force the use of an application-specific color definition file in a multi-application environment.

Internal Color Definition File
|
Lets you modify the color settings defined in the Runtime Internal Color Definition File environment setting, and to save the new color settings in a different file. Use this property to force the use of an internal-specific color definition file in a multi-application environment.

Application Font Definition File
|
Lets you modify font settings defined in the Runtime Application Font Definition File specified in the Environment dialog box, and to save the font settings in a different file. Use this property to force the use of an application-specific font definition file in a multi-application environment.

Internal Font Definition File
|
Lets you modify font settings defined in the Runtime Internal Font Definition File specified in the Environment dialog box, and to save the font settings in a different file. Use this property to force the use of an internal-specific color definition file in a multi-application environment.

Runtime Keyboard Mapping File
|
Lets you specify alternate keyboard mapping, and to override the Runtime Keyboard Mapping File environment setting, if one is set. To create an alternate keyboard mapping file, use the Keyboard Mapping utility. In the Keyboard Mapping utility, when basing new mapping configurations on previously existing ones, save the new configuration under a new file name in the File Save dialog box's Save As property.

Get Latest Version Batch File
|
This property is available when the project is used with a Version Control system.
This property lets you execute external operations as part of the Get Project Latest Version process.
The batch file specified is executed when a Get Latest Version is performed on an application. If the Get Latest Version operation is successfully executed, then the batch file will be executed as the final step.
The batch file may contain any legal Windows commands, such as copying files. See also: Get Latest Version - Version Control.
