EJB Connector – How To (Magic xpi 3.x)

The steps below explain how to use the EJB Connector Service:

  1. In the Magic xpi Studio, open an existing flow or create a new flow.

  2. Find the services icons in the Components pane at the left of the screen. You can display only the services by selecting Services from the drop-down list at the top of the Components pane.

  3. Drag the EJB Connector to your flow.

  4. Enter the configuration details and then click Configuration to open the EJB Connector Configuration dialog box.

  5. In the JNDI name field enter the name of the JNDI file for the EJB you want to access, and complete the remaining fields according to the EJB you want to access.

  6. Click Method to open the Method Details screen to complete the configuration so you can access the Java beans.
