EDI Events (Magic xpi 4.14)

The EDI Events dialog box consists of two panes. The left pane displays the list of events added. This list will be displayed on the trigger. The user can create new or delete existing event(s) by clicking the Add or Delete buttons.

On the right pane, the user can add Partner and Document Type to the selected event. The grid where the Partner can be added contains the following fields:

Partner

Click (ellipsis button) to open the Partner List. The list will show the list of partners available on the EDI server. Select the partner from the list.

The user also has an option to select all partners using the All option.

Document Type

Click (ellipsis button) to open the Document Type List and select a type. The Document Type List will only show the Inbound type of document.

The user can select an individual Document Type or all the documents using the All option.

The Partner and Document Type association should be unique. Once the combination of Partner and Document Type is created it cannot be used in any other service or any other event across the project.
