EDI - Trigger Configuration (Magic xpi 4.14)
Before you use the EDI trigger, an EDI service must be configured in the Settings dialog box's Services section.
To configure the trigger, double-click or right-click on the trigger and select Configuration from the context menu to open the EDI Trigger Configuration dialog box.
This dialog box contains the following fields:

Service Name
|
The name of the service that the user defined in the Settings dialog box's Services section. This field is read-only.

Trigger Event
|
Select an event from the drop-down list. The drop-down list is populated with the events added for the EDI service. Click here, for more information.

Polling Interval (In Minutes)
|
Set the polling interval to poll the trigger events from the EDI server.

Event Details
|
Event details is the read-only list of Partner names and Document Types added as part of the selected event.

Partner
|
The Partner Name selected in the Event.
|
Document Type
|
The Document Type selected in the Event. Only inbound Document Types can be added as a part of the Event and be displayed in this table.
The trigger will only read the Document Types from the Inbox folder and once processed they will be moved to the Archive folder. It is recommended not to move Document Types/messages from the Archive folder to Inbox manually.

Additional Details

Return Document Type
|
Click (ellipsis button) to open the Variable List. Select a variable to set the Return Document Type.

Return Parameter Name
|
Click (ellipsis button) to open the Variable List. Select a variable to set the Return Parameter Name.
|
Return Message Body
|
Click (ellipsis button) to open the Variable List. Select a variable to set the Return Message Body for which the trigger event is fired.
