.NET Alias (Magic xpa 3.x)

The .NET Alias dialog box displays all of the defined aliases. Some of the .NET objects have a long assembly path and when you use these long paths often, it becomes inconvenient to repeatedly type it. This dialog box provides an easy way to declare an alias and its full name. This declaration is similar to the .NET ‘Using’ operation, and is used as a shortcut for long or common names.

The aliases are global and not per assembly.

Duplicate alias names are not allowed.

Aliases created here are not valid in the .NET Code dialog box of the Invoke .NET operation.
