Developer Functions and Components (Magic xpa 2.x)
Developer functions set in the Main Program can be published as part of a Magic xpa component when the Scope option is set to Global. The function is inherently referred to by name, making the public name unnecessary.
When a component is loaded with a Developer function in the Main Program, which is defined as Global, the Developer function is evaluated by the host application. If the function uses a resource (for example: to other programs or data sources), the resource will be taken from the component. This behavior occurs when a Developer function is published as part of the component interface, but it also applies when the function is not published and the host evaluates the Developer function by using the EvalStr function.
