Detaching from the Remote Application (Magic xpa 3.x)
When selecting Detach from a remote engine from the Debug menu, a confirmation window appears with the following question: “Detach from a remote engine?”
If the user approves:
-
Magic xpa disconnects from the remote application.
-
Other Studios will now be able to debug the application.
-
The Studio window header returns to the normal state.
-
The Studio returns to Edit mode of the debugged application.
-
The focus remains as it is (will not restore to the position before the debug began).
-
If the Runtime run was broken, it resumes.
If the runtime environment is shut down normally (or abnormally), the engine will issue a message: “The application being debugged has ended.” The Studio will return to Edit mode.
If the development environment crashes or is closed without first disconnecting, the remote application will be available for other Studios to debug it (after a timeout). If the Runtime run was broken, it will resume.
