Deleting Connections (Magic xpi 4.5)
To delete a connection, right-click the Source or Destination node that is connected, and select Delete Connection or press Delete.
To delete all connections to all simple nodes in a Destination compound node, right-click the Destination compound node that has multiple connections and select Delete All Connections or press Shift+Delete.
Note:
|
Delete All Connections is only available when the Destination node (where the operation is requested) is fully expanded.
|
To delete connections from within multiple connections, right-click the Destination compound node that has multiple connections and select Delete Connection. A Connections dialog box will open up that allows you to check which connections you want to delete. Make your selection and click OK.
When deleting connections, the simple connections will also be deleted unless there is a remaining parent compound connection.
For instance, in the image below, if you delete the connection between the A and C compounds (marked in red), the a2 to c2 connection will not be deleted. This is because there is still a remaining parent compound (A to A).
