Defining a Right (Magic xpa 2.x)
Defining a right is a three-stage process:

Adding the right to the Rights repository.

Associating the right with a particular Magic xpa activity, through the Rights Assignment dialog boxes.

Associating the right with a particular user, in the particular User's Rights repository, or associating the right with a particular group, in that group's Rights repository.
To assign a right to an individual user:

Log in as supervisor.

Select Options/Settings/User IDs.

From the Rights column of the User ID repository, zoom to the Rights of repository.

Create a line in the Rights of repository.

If the right is a Public Right, you can zoom from the Rights of repository to the Public Rights list to select the right.

If the right is non-public, type the Key of the right you want to assign it. You can also use this method to assign Public Rights.
