Description

DataManipulate

This function should be used only when using the Web Service as a Data Source functionality.

In this case, the Web Service provider can pass the request to this function in order to perform the CRUD action on the data source and get back the result. This result should then be sent back from the Web Service provider to the consumer.

Syntax:

DataManipulate (criteria)

Parameters:

criteria: BLOB. An XML describing the required range criteria and columns as sent from the Magic xpa engine for a Web Service data source.

Returns:

BLOB. An XML with the action result.

Exceptions:

This function is not supported for Browser Client tasks.

This function does not support the Check Existence property.
