Data Mapper Database Destinations (Magic xpi 4.5)
When working with a Data Mapper step that includes a database Destination, the behavior is a bit different. Magic xpi will first search for a an error handling flow defined at the step level (in the Error Handling Flow property in the database schema's Properties pane). From this field, you can select a flow that you have set up to handle errors at the Destination level. (Each database Destination can have a different Error Handling flow.)
When the error handling flow is called from this property, the error handling flow can also map specific values from the failed statement to the flow variables of the error handling flow.
In the node's Properties pane, when working with databases, you can use the Log Error property. Here, you can select the flow variables that will accept the input data in the Error Handling Flow.
Note:
|
Make sure that you have previously defined the flow variables that will accept the input data in the Error Handling Flow.
