Configuring the Server (Magic xpa 3.x)
Before using the Magic xpa server, you must define various settings in the IBM i Configuration utility, such as the execution environment, language settings, and working directory. You also need to specify IBM i execution parameters, such as the subsystem name, the job queue, and other settings. If you plan to use application partitioning or Internet applications, you need to define the Magic xpa Messaging Server, as explained in the Microsoft Messaging Queue Component Guide.
You can define all of the necessary settings by using the IBM i Configuration utility.
